Gheerulla is a small rural community on the Sunshine Coast hinterland in Queensland, set among majestic mountains with picturesque streams criss-crossing the landscape. The district is in the Mary River Valley and has more than a century of history encompassed in its cemetery, hall, church and Pioneer Park.
The community sits astride Tourist Drive 22 but is rarely mentioned in the advertising brochures as a "must see" place. We are proud of our history and the achievements of the community over more than 130 years. Stop by and visit us sometime.
